Castle Rock

Castle Rock, like Colorado Springs, was served by two stations, but here we have the space to represent both of them. The line to the rear of the picture is the DRG&W, while the C & S has line to the left.

Number 4111, continuing towards Denver on DRG&W trackage, has now reached the outskirts of Castle Rock.

Here we get a better look at the C & S line, as well as the station siding.

Note the aerobatic plane, in John Deere colors, flying over the dealership.

The prototype for this building was in eastern South Dakota. One of our members' father worked at this dealership and he built this as a remembrance of him.

The dealership is getting ready for trade-in time for the prosperous farmers and ranchers around Castle Rock. As the saying goes, ? You can't sell from an empty cart.?
