Victorville
 
We have reached the Mojave Desert town of Victorville, named for an employee of the California Railroad. It is the dominant town in the Victor Valley and was a stop on US Highway 66. The Mineral Road bridge spans the Mojave River, while the plate girder bridge crosses the Santa Fe railroad.
